While chatting with the audience during a brief break on her show Saturday, Adele offered her support for the Chiefs as they try to defeat the 49ers in the big game.

Adele pledged her support for Kansas City on Saturday, and Swift played a major role in that decision or, more precisely, in the backlash against Swift’s relationship with Kelce.

“I’m torn,” Adele said. “I want the 49ers to win, but I also want the Chiefs to win. I think I want the Chiefs to win simply because of Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.”

Adele isn’t planning on placing any bets on Sunday night’s clash, she said, claiming she doesn’t really understand the sport’s yardage system. But she’ll keep her fingers crossed for Swift.
