Lisa Kudrow may have sworn off Botox for good after being hit with an uncomfortable side effect from the anti-wrinkle injections.
The actress, 62, recently told The Hollywood Reporter that her eyes became ‘inflamed’ after getting Botox.
‘I think it contributed to my eye irritation and this weird pattern on my forehead, so I’m probably done with it now anyway,’ she said of the popular neurotoxin.
Kudrow, who didn’t start experimenting with Botox until her 60th birthday, also admitted that she’s ‘scared’ of getting older and is surprised that fans can still recognize her.
‘I am scared of having to see myself looking like my grandmother one day, but I’m excited to play older roles,’ she said.
Kudrow has often been praised for her choice to age naturally, although she has admitted to getting a ‘life altering’ nose job when she turned 16.

‘I went from, in my mind, hideous to not hideous,’ she told The Saturday Evening Post.
‘I did it the summer before going to a new high school. So there were plenty of people who wouldn’t know how hideous I looked before. That was a good, good, good change.’
In 2024, Kudrow opened up about her decision to avoid getting more cosmetic surgery, despite her thriving Hollywood career.
‘I don’t judge anyone for doing it. A lot of people look fantastic, but I also am afraid that if it doesn’t heal right [I will] look older and altered,’ she explained on the Armchair Expert podcast.
‘Everyone but me seems to be doing this so should I? Am I allowed not to? Or is it going to be so off-putting, it’s going to affect people’s experience watching me?’ she asked herself.
Kudrow is currently on the promotional trail for her HBO series The Comeback, which returns for its third season on March 22.
In the cult comedy series, Kudrow plays Valerie Cherish, an ageing actress who is desperate to stay relevant and ends up starring in the first sitcom written entirely by AI.
The Comeback originally premiered in 2005 to widespread critical acclaim, but was canceled by HBO after just one season due to low ratings.

Kudrow is set to return to the small screen soon in season three of The Comeback
Despite the cancellation, the show continued to build a cult following and was repeatedly ranked by critics as one of the best TV shows of the modern era, which led to it being revived for a second season in 2014.
The second season was another ratings flop and was in fact the least-watched original scripted series on all of cable during its run.
However, it once again received widespread critical acclaim, with Kudrow earning a Best Actress nomination at the Emmys and Critics’ Choice Awards.
The upcoming third season has already won rave reviews from critics.
Kudrow has confirmed that the third instalment will be the last, regardless of the ratings and reviews.
‘The most respectful thing we can do for the audience and for the character is make it a three-part story. It’s a trilogy, and this is the end,’ she said.
Outside of The Comeback, Kudrow has recently starred in the comedy-horror film The Parenting and the AppleTV+ fantasy series Time Bandits.
