In 2016, Melania and her husband, Donald Trump, found themselves in hot water when provocative photos from Melania’s past modeling shoots were leaked just weeks before the election.

The explicit photos showed Melania posing on a private jet, lounging on a fur blanket, adorned with sparkling diamond jewelry, wearing customized handcuffs, and holding a chrome pistol.

The release of these photos sparked a fierce backlash against Melania and her husband. But now, Melania has a powerful message for her critics.

In her book, Melania confidently says she “does not feel shame” about the risqué photos that were released.

She writes: “The female form was once revered and honored in Western culture. Historically, artists produced magnificent paintings and sculptures that exalted the beauty of the feminine figure.”

Melania Trump expressed her views on nudity, saying: “Nudity was a medium through which humanity was elevated and celebrated. This sentiment resonated deeply with me when I posed for Vogue during my pregnancy.

Melania is from Slovenia and says Europe normalizes nudity
She added: “I believed then, as I do now, that women should take pride in their bodies, not feel shame.”

In her book, the First Lady revealed that her upbringing in Europe gave her a more liberal view on nudity. Born and raised in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, Melania explained that women are encouraged to be comfortable and unashamed of their naked bodies.

Commenting on the photoshoot, Melania described the images as “artistic and tasteful” and stated that nude modeling in the fashion industry is “commonplace and hardly scandalous.”

Melania’s modeling career began when she was discovered by Slovenian fashion photographer Stane Jerko at the tender age of sixteen.

She continued to model for many years and was one of the first models recruited to Donald Trump’s own modeling agency, Trump Model Management, after its establishment in February 1999.
