Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West unveiled a set of bold nails in new social media snaps on Thursday.
The 12-year-old – who is the eldest child of the SKIMS founder and rapper Kanye West – uploaded an assortment of photos to her Instagram stories to show off her latest look to her 2.5 million followers.
It comes shortly after the preteen sparked fan concern over ‘risky’ finger and ‘facial piercings’ in recent months.
In one image, North gave a glimpse at long blue nails that contained silver studs and what appeared to be mini piercing embellishments.
Some of the nails also have ‘North-chan’ written in Japanese in pink lettering – which appeared to be in reference to the track Bomb which is found on her father and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 2 (2024) album.
North as well as her sister Chicago, eight, were additionally featured on the song, with the preteen rapping a verse in Japanese.

She additionally shared a clip as the camera slowly zoomed in towards the nails to better show off the details.
In the reel, North also tagged licensed nail technician Noehmi Saldana as well as Akemi Santiago.
Another slide was a selfie taken by the preteen as she placed a hand over her mouth to once again flaunt the bold look.
A fuzzy black cap was placed over her long blue hair which had ‘Nor11’ printed on the front.
Lastly, a blurry picture showed North holding an assortment of shopping bags as she posed on a street in Japan.
Lyrics such as ‘Shoppin’ in Japan, that’s where I always stand’ jumped onto the screen which she sings in her recent track titled Piercing On My Hand.
The preteen sparked concern last year in August when she revealed what appeared to be a dermal piercing on her right hand during a trip to Italy with her mother – which consisted of two small silver balls below her knuckle on her middle finger.
And in October, the preteen also posted to TikTok once again and debuted fake face tattoos as well as grillz.

In a series of reels, her blue locks were styled into braids as the 12-year-old sported black grillz as well as a fake nose piercing.
The clips had also garnered a wave of mixed reactions from social media users and Kardashian soon clapped back after her eldest child was criticized by trolls over the look.
The reality star responded to a TikTok video uploaded by Daily Mail Australia which covered the backlash and penned in the comment section, ‘This is such a non-issue.’ But it was later revealed it was North herself who penned the short message.
Late last year in December, North jumped to the joint TikTok account she shares with her famous mom to offer a response towards the criticism she received over the piercings.
She filmed a short selfie video at the time as a soundbite played in the background saying, ‘Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together.’
North also added text over the reel which read: ‘this is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing.’
In January, she seemingly revealed more finger piercings despite fan concern over the ‘risky’ procedure.
And last month, North uploaded photos to her Instagram page as she showed off what appeared to be ‘face piercings’ while on a shopping spree.

North’s track, Piercing on My Hand, arrived in early February, with production from her father – also known as Ye – and Will Frenchman.
The preteen wrote Piercing On My Hand with her father, and it is seemingly a response to negative criticism of her piercings.
Last year in January, North made a surprise feature on FKA Twigs’ third studio album, EUSEXUA. She garnered mixed reactions from fans when she rapped fluently in Japanese on the track Childlike Things.
In February, the 12-year-old signed a deal with the label Gamma which is an independent entertainment firm run by former Apple executive Larry Jackson, which has also signed Mariah Carey.
Sources told Rolling Stone that North has already begun recording sessions in a studio under the new partnership.
Earlier this month, Kardashian and her preteen daughter were spotted leaving a nighttime recording session in Los Angeles.
The TV personality appeared to have supported her eldest child while at a studio together.
